[ntl] sagemath ntl patches

  Hi,

  Is it possible to add the interface that sagemath adds to ntl?
Not necessarily the verbatim same patch. What sagemath
does is to wrap Error to have access to the actual error string
and to its handling instead of the ntl print error string and call
abort sequence.

  I have this patch in Mandriva ntl package for a very long time

but now I am trying/considering to help package sagemath in
Fedora, and I am reviewing some issues where I did not
properly report issues upstream in the past when packaging
sagemath in Mandriva.
